Why iOS 12 is the most important software update in Apple's history

Hello September! So by now, we all know September is back to school, back to soccer, back to early to bed/early to rise routines, and yes...September is the annual Apple dog and pony show where they try to woo and wow us into spending billions of dollars on their new gadgets. Is this year, this September, any different? Well, not really. BUT, in my opinion, this September marks the first time in a long time that Apple will provide us with something (hopefully) revolutionary! Do you have a Screenager? Is your tween or teen addicted to staring blankly into the screen, playing games, Snapchatting, Instagramming, and generally zombifying their mind while the dirty dishes, dirty clothes, and other chores & responsibilities go unnoticed? If so, you may want to read on and set an alarm for September 12th at 1:00pm EST.

It is on this day where we will learn the exact release of iOS 12...our new savior.

iOS 12 is the newest iPhone and iPad operating system, and by now millions of us have come to rely on many of it's features in our day to day lives. Email, Calendar, Text, Phone, Candy Crush...er, well ok maybe not that! iOS 12 will be Apple's most vital update so far, it will be critical to countless concerned parents across the globe. Why? Screen Time. Yes, iOS 12 features a new settings suite called Screen Time and it allows you to monitor how you're spending your time on your iPhone. Ranging from the apps you are using, to the number of times you're picking up the iPhone to glance at its screen. More importantly, you can use Screen Time to put specified time limits on apps, set content filters, and even restrict app usage when you should be doing other things like chores, homework, or going to bed.

Your kid playing to much Fortnite on the iPad? BUH-BYE! Your kid staying up to late Snapchatting? ADIOS! You or your kid spending too much time doing (fill in the blank) on your iPhone? SAYONARA! Folks, please welcome our new savior Screen Time.

Time to ween! Time to be reborn!

Also, one man tested the Screen Time features with a real live, fully zombified Screenager for 30 days...and the results were POSITIVE!!

Breathe easy folks, by mid October we might just get our kids back!
